It appears that Box Drive does not have "Full support for Apple silicon Macs".  Support is confirming that Box still requires Rosetta to be installed.

Hopefully they are working on a native version for Apple Silicon.

But does the Box app itself run Box natively under Apple SIlicon? Because the app shows it as still being an intel app, not an Apple or Universal app.

As of September 15, 2022, Box Drive still runs as an Intel-only app (under Rosetta), but it is not optimized for Apple Silicon and I am therefore removing it from workflow.

I am very disappointed at box for not supporting Apple Silicon natively. It is the only app on my Mac not supporting it. I will be removing it from my workflow as well.

Agree it's ridiculous that Apple Silicon has been out for almost 2 years now, and not only is Box Drive not yet AS native, but there's not even a timeline for it becoming AS native. Unless something changes, I plan to drop Box as soon as my current Box-based projects end.

Ditto to what Michael, Alejandro and Sean P said.  Extremely disappointed in Box for not supporting AS.  I'm not on M2 Max and will also be removing Box from my workflow.  Sorry Box...up your game.
