    I checked your account and it appears you are on the Personal Free plan, and there are indeed limitations on the features in your Box versus those that are on a paid plan. For instance, your max file size upload limit is indeed limited to up to 250MB, if you try to upload a file that is greater than this, the error message would be expected. For more details, please take a look at this article: Common Issues with Downloading Files 

    About the issue opening your files to your desktop PC, do you encounter any specific error message that you can share so we can take a look and share some troubleshooting tips? May we also know what OS are you on and what version of Box Drive are you using.
