Getting 404 error while creating files with node Box sdk

When making a client.files.uploadFile call I get a 404 error.

When I look into this error code, it tells me its because the account in question (service account) does not have collaborator permissions. In my case I have confirmed that it does in fact have full editor permissions.

What would I need to check to eliminate this error.
