Using FTP with External Users
回答済みWe have a Enterprise account, and we need to invite 3rd parties to their folders. Some will use the Box interface, and a free account works for them. Others prefer to use an FTP client like Filezilla. However, it seems that for FTP, the external user much themselves have a Enterprise Box account. Is this true? Instead of adding an extra user on our account and provisioning it to this third-party, could they themselves upgrade from Free (Personal) to, say, Business Starter or Personal Pro, which are more economical, and still benefit by being able to connect to us with Filezilla?
Thanks.

Hi Yehoshua,
Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
Please be advised that using FTP with Box is available only to Business and Enterprise accounts. This is feature is not available for personal accounts (free or pro) and those that are on trial period.
FTP is intended for initial bulk uploading and occasional bulk downloading of files from your account, and we also do not recommend using FTP as your primary access method to your files in Box. If you need to access your Box files on your Desktop environment, we recommend using applications such Box Drive.
To learn more about using FTP with Box, please take a look at this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697414-Using-Box-with-FTP-or-FTPS
Thanks for reaching out and let us know how else we can help!
