Cannot see MetaData Option on my file

Hello,
I have a box developers account, I created a metadata template using the api
https://developer.box.com/reference/post-metadata-templates-schema/ 
I applied the created metadata template to one of my files and it responded with status 201 which meant that metadata instance had been applied to the file.
I did not see any Meta data option on preview link of the file even before creating the metadata template preview link means https://app.box.com/file/${fileid}
But I thought may be after applying the metadata instance it shall appear, but it does not. I tried to explore developers console to see if there is an option that can activate metadata templates on my preview links but there is not any thing. Am I missing anything, please would be grateful if someone can let me know what am I doing wrong here.
