Kindly help me with this error as I was facing it from so long. I checked everything i.e. my App Client Id and Client Secret are all correct.

  do you mind sending me the enterprise id for your Box instance and client id of the application?

  My enterprise id is zero and cliend id of the application is "57iihmgthujsqpav8gafrg66dvulw655"

  Ah - I see. You will need to have a paid enterprise plan in order to use a JWT application. They have to be approved in your instances admin console - and you will only gain access to that after having a paid enterprise level account. You can also use a sandbox in created from a paid enterprise plan.
