Synchronizing data folder in WindowsServer via BOX sync
Hello everyone,
I am currently working on designing a new system and am considering implementing it using BOX Cloud services. The goal of the system is to centralize and streamline workflow by aggregating data exchanges with customers into the cloud.
Here is an overview of the system:
- A data exchange folder with customers is set up on an in-office Windows Server.
- Office PCs access this folder via SMB locally in the office.
- A folder synchronized with the data on the Windows Server is created in the BOX Cloud by the App "BoxSync".
- Customers can view and upload data to the assigned folder via the BOX Cloud.
- Employees can access the data folder via the BOX Cloud even when they are out of the office.
I would like to know if such a system configuration is feasible with BOX Cloud, and if there are any tips or considerations to keep in mind during the implementation. I would particularly appreciate hearing from those who have experience implementing similar systems using BOX.
Thank you in advance for your help.
