Viewing tags in embed_widget

I am really confused why tags are no visible when using the embed_widget to embed the contents of a folder. What is the point in there being a menu option to add/view tags if the view doesn't support actually showing tags.

Furthermore it would be nice to be able to search and filter specific tags for that specific folder.
