Free Box.com authorizing application to access files?

I need to test accessing a third party users account. I have my own developer account which contains my application but I need to test authorizing my application accessing someone else's Box.com account. To that end will a free Box.com work in authorizing my application to access its content? I don't want to sign up for a paid Box.com account just to test if I don't have to.
