Box REST API filter user events by event_type and date

Hello,

 

I want to retrieve user events after a date. I tried the below /events REST API with the event_type and created_after query param:

https://api.box.com/2.0/events?event_type=ITEM_CREATE&created_after=2018-04-12T01:53:07-07:00

But the API returned me all the user events without filtering them by the event_type and date that I've provided.

Is this the expected behavior or this is a know issue with user events REST API?

Or is there any other way to filter the user events by event_type and date?

  Facing the same issue, could someone please guide what to do in this situation.
