Custom validations for Upload Widget

Is there a way to add validations on Upload button click for Upload Widget? If yes, do let me know how to capture the Upload button by id/name in order to add validations like file names, etc.

  Custom validation is currently not supported through the Box File Picker widget.

   

  The widget currently supports two events that let you subscribe to users' actions and implement a custom event handlers. The first event type is "success", which is when the user successfully picks a file or folder. The second event type is "cancel", which is when a user closes out of the widget before picking a file.
