Is there any consideration to allow files with the same name to be uploaded and not automatically version them?  In our code we check to see if the file already exists but I was curious if there was some thought in allowing files of the same name.  For large enterprise integrations the same file name is fairly common.

  Hi there,

  As far as I know, I don't think there is a way to implement same name files in Box yet! The only thing I could think of is to add either a timestamp at the end of file name or something. You could still leverage metadata if you really need to have same metadata. You could have metadata field  called "InternalName" and more than 1 file can have same "InternalName". This is just my thought though.
