Auto delete file after shared link expires?

Using .NET SDK and a custom app, but I'm hoping this is a configuration item on our account.

Is there a way/setting whereby when a shared link expires the file is also deleted? Our app uploads files to our account and then creates a shared link that expires in 10 days. After that, we no longer need the file (which sometimes can be huge), so we'd like to reclaim the space.
