Enterprise Events long update period

Hi,

Our application monitors files via the Enterprise Events (EE). We periodically scan the EE -s for the time range of last scan start and to current time.

I have noticed that the recent changes become visible only after 2-3 minutes, and some times more.

I.e. renaming a file will result in a visible event only after few minutes.

This means that i can`t really trust the time offset.

The question is, what is the maximal time of an event to be propagated through Box systems?

What is the best strategy to face this limitation?
