Set CreatedBy/EditedBy via Api

Greetings,

our PO send a request to Dev-Team after a Workshop with box-employees inclucded.

The Topic was set CreatedBy and EditedBy and the answer was: can be set via api. (poorly, no more Infos send in)

My Question to the community is, can someone lead me in the right direction?

Here's what we do, what we know, and what we like to know

We Do-----------------------

- We use Custom-Metadata (list of key-value)

- We create the Content Files/Folders

To do that, we have a application/User registered via JWT2 into the box account.

That User get's Co-Owner Rights on a specific Folder and give us an adminClient.

We Know-----------------------

It is possible to upload file as User A Client (CreatedBy)

And afterwards do something with that Content with User B Client (EditedBy)

The Questions-----------------------

I do not see a direct way to set these Attributes via api, is this possible?

What about a user, that is no Box Member - say "Max Mustermann"?

Is that ImpoersonateUser-Client the only way to Archiv the order?
