Deleted Box File / change ownership
Hi there
A colleague of mine finished last week and we forgot to change the ownership of the folders she owned. Now IT have deleted her account and I have lost everything!
Any ideas on how I can get my folder back?

I do have some article recommendations on how to handle employees who are leaving - This will require admin permissions which may require your IT team to identify.

We have the same question for Box as there aren't any details or forums addressing this issue.
A colleague is due to leave, they have added me as Co-owner, but I don't have complete access rights to business critical folders.
Without clear direction from Box we will be in the same position as you.

Hey Jonathan - I work for a big corporate company and I was told to contact my IT department. I did and they have re-instated the box with me as the owner. May be worth reaching out to your IT department.
If your colleague is still there, they can make you owner which then in turn makes them an editor. This should give you full access to the files.
