App Token with Python SDK

Hello, I'm using App Token authentication for the first time. My end goal is to be able to upload a single file to the same folder once a month so from what I read in the documentation, this should be able to do everything I need. I'd also prefer using the Python SDK in this process. I was just a little confused on the Authentication because the documentation on your site says it is possible but on the Github page for the Python SDK this new method is not mentioned anywhere. Also I'm trying to generate a file in an AWS Lambda and upload from there so if you had an example on that as well that would be amazing. Thank you!
