Apparently I have downloaded the same file 8 times.  However, I was not asked to select a location on my hard drive.  Where would the file have been saved?

  Welcome to the Box Community!

  Downloaded files from the Box webapp (Box.com) will be saved to your computer, typically in the default download location for the browser you use. 

  There are different ways on how you may find your recent downloads depending on the browser you use. See this one for example: https://www.solveyourtech.com/how-to-see-recent-downloads-in-google-chrome/
