    I sincerely hope this feature is implemented and supported by BoxDrive. It is painful to look at a bunch of folders that I was granted access to because I am part of a group, but that I have not the faintest chance of referencing in 100 years.

    Box... you're incompetent at permissions and organization. You add features that *you* think we want (like "Collections") when you should be actually listening to, and understanding, users and adding features they actually want.

    Collections are useless to hide folders/files. Anything you put in a Collection does NOT get hidden at all. All items in all collections are still present and viewable in all areas, especially the top folder and in File Explorer. It's useless. It's a feature designed by a web browser developer that thinks "Favorites" filters are useful. They're not. It's something for an entirely different purpose and you need to make folder *hiding* it an actual available feature.

    When organizing your Box account, you can hide specific folders that you don’t want to see regularly. Here are a couple of options:

    Hide Folders in Box Drive:
    If you’re using Box Drive (which integrates Box with your local file system), you can hide folders directly from your file explorer.
    Right-click on the folder you want to hide (either in the Explorer navigation tree or from the main Box Drive folder).
    Go to “Properties.”
    Under “Attributes,” mark the “Hidden” attribute checkbox and click “Apply.”
    The folder will no longer appear in Box Drive, but it will still be accessible on the Box website1.
    Restrict Shared Link Access:
    If you want to restrict access to certain folders via shared links (while allowing collaboration within the account), you can adjust the folder’s shared link settings.
    Right-click on the folder, go to “Settings,” and select the option to restrict shared link access to collaborators only.
    This way, the folder won’t be visible to external users via shared links2.
    Use Collections (Optional):
    Box Collections allow you to create private collections of content within your Box account.
    You can organize files and folders into collections without affecting their visibility to collaborators.
    Collections are a way to group related content without changing their location or access permissions3.
    Remember to choose the option that best fits your workflow. Whether you hide folders in Box Drive, restrict shared link access, or use collections, you can keep your account organized without permanently deleting old folders.
