character mangling
It was suggested that I re-post this question in this forum:
"I've noticed that I can't copy/paste into and out of boxnotes without characters like double-quotes and double-dashes (" --) being turned into some other identical-looking character. So if I copy/paste something like a curl command with all of those things, it's so mangled (though it *looks*) the same, it causes errors and I end up erasing and re-typing all the non-alphanumeric characters every time. Has anyone else experienced this? It's a small time-suck I'd love to have a workaround for!"

Experiencing this same issue when inserting URLs that have double hyphens into markdown files
https://example.com/--/example
Oddly enough, it renders correctly here in this comment however if you paste that same URL into a Box file it will render as
https://example.com/%E2%80%93/example
Only way to record URL correctly is by using code tags which prevents it from being clickable when viewing from the Box UI.
