Archiving data off of Box
Hello
We are legally obliged to keep 12 years worth of data in digital archives.
I am aware of various arguments that state that all data is 'backed up' on Box, but I suspect the data retention period on Box is not 12 years.
Therefore, we need to take data off and back it up in a secure location traditionally.
How do we do this in a clean and automated way?
We note that some software we would ordinarily use for archiving does not like the OS X FUSE volume.

The MSP I work with has been recommending CloudAlly ( https://www.cloudally.com/ ) for Box backups. Without having a bizarre line of different devices to do it for a meager price break (sync to Synology NAS, then use the NAS as a base for utilizing a different backup solution like Backblaze or similar) that has been the only solution we've found.

All cloud file storage providers should be making this much easier. Egnyte is worse off. I suppose you could feasibly sync to a computer/server and back that up. Again you're adding unnecessary variables where the chain can break and inevitably no data will be backed up, which defeats the purpose.
I'd encourage looking into CloudAlly as that's the only actual backup solution I've found for Box.
