API to change password on shared links

Hello, I posted a request to Box Support about changing the shared link password on 1,900 files I have in my Box  system.

They said there is not an option to do this in the Box web app, but there might be an option using API. Can anyone help, please?

    Hello, 

    You could use this API endpoint to update the password for a shared link.

    Thanks, Alex. Sadly I'm not a programmer and haven't done this type of thing before. Is it feasible that I could still use this? If so, how would I do it?

    Ah. No Worries. It would be a bit of a challenge if you have never programmed before. 

    I would start by going through our CLI quick start.  This will easily let you hit all the APIs locally on your computer.

    I've just discovered Postman. Could I use that to change the password for all my shared links? Would that be easier for a non-programmer? I've seen a couple of tutorial videos that they just show you how to return the content of a folder for example, but not how to change the content. Is this possible? Thanks for any reply.
