Locked out of account with old email
I see someone else posted this and a BOX rep said they would contact them. Creating another post and having BOX reach out to me seems to be the only way to contact support.
Appreciate you help in regaining access to my account.

The email tied to the account is [personal information--redacted]. The password must have expired because I am no longer able to log in with it. I dont have access to that email anymore so I cannot reset the password. I just need to log in to that account so i can adjust the admin ownership of this folder:[personal information--redacted]. Currently the "owner" of the folder is the [personal information--redacted] account and a client needs help making them the owner.

It looks like the email is linked to a personal Lite account.
If you can’t access the email address associated with your Box account, we recommend either reaching out to your email service provider (ESP) to regain access to your email account. For additional guidance please review our support guide on Logging in to Box.
Box does not have the ability to help you regain access to your email account. You will need access to the email address associated with your account to change your account password. We appreciate your cooperation in helping to protect your account against unauthorized access.

My apologies however, we do not have the ability to perform folder ownership transfer for a user.
Only the owner of the folder can change its ownership to another person. The best way to resolve this would be to contact your your email service provider (ESP) to regain access to the email account, when you have access to the email again, you can request for a password reset link to access the Box account, and once you have access you can perform the steps in this article on how to transfer folder ownership.

Are you able to inform me if there is anyone else in that BOX subscription that has ownership capabilities? The client owns the BOX account but doesn't know how to obtain "ownership". Maybe there is an overseeing admin account that can transfer ownership?
What steps can I take to give the company that pays for this BOX account a profile with ownership rights?
