Renaming folders

I'm not the administrator of my account, so I can't rename the folders that get shared with me. All of the folder names are the same. Is there a way for me to change the names so I can sort the folders? When I'm looking for a certain file, I have to open all 50 folders to find it.

  Hi Lauren, 

  Welcome to the Box Community!

  Your "collaborator permission" will determine the actions you can take on Shared folder. For actions such as editing the folder name, you much be the Owner of the folder or have Co-owner or Editor permission to be able to do so.

  Hello there,

  I would like to understand if renaming the folders  - while being the Owner - compromises the acess of the other users.

  Example:

  Root folder > Untitled Folder_01 (with 200 collaborators, editors, viewers etc)

  Changing the "untitled folder" to anything else compromises the access of anybody?

  To answer your question, renaming the folders will not affect nor compromise your collaborators access to the collaborative content.
