Viewing Folders and Files
Is there any way that I can keep the folder view static after exiting one file and moving to the next one, alphabetically?
I constantly have to review files in alphabetical order and each time I exit one to go onto the next the view reverts to the original order. Then I have to scroll down to get to the one that I need to look at next.
It is time consuming to have to scroll down over and over again to access the next file in the list. It would be lovely to have a function like this.

Hi Tracy,
Welcome to the Box Community!Unfortunately, we don't currently offer the feature you asked about.Folders in the account can only be sorted by Name, Updated and Size. The folder/file cannot be embedded separately. It would be easier if you go to "All Files" dropdown menu to show the folder tree. You can also utilize Box Pulse <https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778-help-shape-the-future-of-box> -- our product feedback tool powered by UserVoice.Best, -
Hi Tracey,
Welcome to the Box Community!
One of our community members has shared a workaround that may help you achieve this actually and it appears to have worked for many of our members:
If you navigate to "All Files" or where you start when you initially login , and set the sort order there , it will "sticks" when you navigate to other pages.
You can find this idea being shared in this specific thread commented by Barry Gould https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4408050649235-Is-there-a-way-to-save-sort-preferences-
Hope that helps!
