error when uploading a file to Box

  I get the error above when I create a new word doc in Box, any guidance? Thanks

  Thanks for reaching out, I'm happy to help!

  We usually see this error for Windows users if the file path length is hitting the maximum number of characters limit. Windows does not allow file paths longer than 260 characters. For this reason, Windows will not open this file for you. Please take note that this is a Windows limitation. If you're working on a Mac, this shouldn't be a problem.

  As a workaround, you can rename the file to shorten its name or move the file to an upper level folder or to a different location to prevent this from happening in the future.
