Mac Quick Look feature does not work for Microsoft Office files synced with Box Drive
On my Mac laptop, when I try and use Quick Look on a Microsoft Office file that is synced via Box Drive, I do not see the file contents, only the Office logo.
In other words, when I open Finder and navigate to a Word doc that I have synced with Box (so it has a green check mark next to it), when I press the space bar, that *should* open up a preview of the file. However, instead of seeing the contents of the Word file, I just see the Word logo. This Quick Look preview feature works correctly for Office files that are not synced via Box Drive. Also, Quick Look works for pdf files and other non-Office files.
This is VERY annoying as I use preview constantly. This has significantly negatively impacted my experience with Box Drive. Please help!

What you are experiencing is expected behavior if the file has not been recently opened in Box Drive. Files will need to be cached to the systems local memory to be viewed in Apples Quick View. Please see second bullet on this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695774-Mac-Specific-Known-Issues-for-Box-Drive
To confirm this behavior, will you please open the Office file in Box Drive, then once it has been closed to attempt the Quick View action and it should generate a preview?Let us know how it goes and if you have any questions.

Thanks for the prompt response. I saw that articles and this does not solve my problem. Opening the file and then closing it does not produce a preview of the document.
All of my work files are synced via Box Drive and the Quick Look feature doesn't work on any of them. Even on files files that I am constantly opening/closing/updating. It is possible there is a setting or permission that is off?
Any help is greatly appreciated as this is VERY annoying and making it difficult to use Box as I'm often hopping between files and scanning documents.
Hopefully, we can figure this out.
