Updating Collaboration

As we restructure our file/folders design, I am moving users content from their personal accounts to some other folder structure. This new folder (for each users) would be under a root folder that is owned by the Box Admin and user would have EDITOR role. However, when I move files, each users seem to get "Uploader" role. I would like to change it to EDITOR as well. How do I do that? Do I use "Edit a Collaboration" under this page https://github.com/box/box-python-sdk/blob/main/docs/usage/collaboration.md? What's a collab_id?
