Box is ending the "Updates" feed? Why?
One of the most important aspects of Box for me is viewing the "Updates" feed to see which of my files have been previewed or downloaded. Why is this function going away? I have checked out "Recents" and that doesn't seem to contain very current info. It's very random too, whereas "Updates" I can follow every day and it's updated all the time....

Hi there,
Welcome to the Box Community! I’m happy to help.
Please refer to this article:
Box has made the decision to end of life (EOL) the Updates feature on August 31, 2022. Updates shows the changes made to all the content a user has access to or is collaborated on. We conducted thoughtful analysis of Updates usage, and the low adoption signaled that we should redirect Updates maintenance effort to delivering higher value features to our customers.
As an alternative to Updates, users can use Recents to access contents they recently interacted with. Additionally, User Events API provides the same dataset as Updates.
Best,

Thanks AJ. If "User Events API" offers the same info as "Updates" did, can you please guide me in how to add that integration to my account? Or is it already there? And "Recents" does nothing for me as it appears to only show activities I have initiated within my account, such as uploading files or previewing my own files. What I need to see is whenever someone else (even if they are not a Box subscriber themselves) previews and/or downloads files I have sent them with a Box.com Link. Thanks, Shane Barrett
