Excel pivot tables with protected sheet issue in BOX
I run / share two pivot tables for important info which needs to be accessed by about 20 folks o/w 15 will be making updates to the main data tab.
I then wish to run pivot tables and update some lookup tables so we can use the dynamic data usefully.
However the pivot tables create some bizarre outputs which do not reflect the reality of the main data tab.
I am also unable to unprotect one of the tabs which I need secured to ensure noone messes with the lookups which drive key information and results
Please can I speak to an SME on this matter.

Hi Martin,
Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
Upon checking, it looks like you are part of an organization that requires their managed users to contact your internal helpdesk or service desk for issues related to Box. Kindly reach out to your internal helpdesk for further assistance on looking into this.
Furthermore, PivotTables seems a feature of Microsoft Excel app, so it sounds like this issue is more on the Editor app you are using to edit this excel file stored in Box. To explain the role of Box in this situation, Box interacts with editor apps such as MS Office apps by housing the file, sending it off to Microsoft's service, and receiving the changes back from Microsoft's service to Box.
I'd recommend reaching out to Microsoft for further assistance about the settings and functions that are not working properly for support.Should your helpdesk support need assistance from Box support about this issue, they can always submit a ticket on your behalf.
Thanks for posting and let us know if you have any questions.
All the Best,
