Currently Box admins can control which integration apps can be used at their enterprise, applicable to all managed users.
We are excited to announce that coming soon it will also be possible to selectively enable integration apps to particular managed users and groups.
This solution will allow you to

test deploy an integration app for a subset of users before it is broadly available,

deploy a departmental integration app,

allow a given integration app for all except for some managed users who should not adopt it
...and for more!
Apps availability can be adjusted in Admin Console > Apps > Box Apps & Integrations > Individual Application Controls. The release of this new feature will not automatically affect any existing setup of app availability at your enterprise.
