What is "seats"?

Hi,

I recently upgraded my account and it appears that I have more seats than I should.

But I don't know what these "seats" mean. And I would also like to know how to reduce them.

    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    "Seats" are the licenses you purchase on the account. This pertains to the number of users that is allowed to have access on your account. 

    If you wish to reduce your number of seats, you may follow this article: Decreasing Seats From Your Subscription

    Please do take a note that on all of Business level accounts, Box has a 3-user minimum requirement.
