Auto sync to main Box account
CompletedI'm coming to Box having used Dropbox for 5+ years. On dropbox, we have users download application data into the documents folder, then back it up and share to the shared dropbox account. That way, when the user downloads, notifications and data update automatically occur.
I'm trying to elicit this behavior using box and not having success. When the user is downloading data into their local documents folder, it is not updating in the main box account, nor is it notifying other shared users of an update.
I have downloaded box drive, but that still doesn't seem to do it. is Box Sync necessary? is there something I'm missing?
Again, the main behavior we are looking for is
1) User download files into document folder
2) Local document folder syncs to main box account
3) shared users are notified of the update of the content of the shared folder
