    You will only receive this error message if the email address you are trying to invite to collaborate on your Box folders is linked to a deactivated Box account.

    To resolve this, please reach out to these people and advise them to contact Box billing team to help reactivate their Box account. They may send an email to billing@box.com for support on this issue.
