Microsoft Word edits on Mac didn't save
AnsweredI had opened a Word document from Box in my desktop version of Word and worked on it. I did not close it down but when I opened my computer today, Word wasn't open (crash?) and the version on box was missing the last 7 days of edits. Is there any way to recover my edits? I've tried all of the suggestions online.

Hi MJH,
Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
To confirm, did you edit your File using Box Tools/ Box Edit (opening files in webapp to your MS word desktop) or did you open it from your Box Drive and opened them via Word desktop?
Can you check your recently closed documents on your MS Word desktop to see if file you worked on and the changes is in there?
Looking forward to hear from you!
Regards,

Hi MJH,
Did you click the "Save" button when you were working on this file?
When you saved the file, did you receive a similar message when you were saving your changes to Box as described in this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695454-Box-Edit-Error-Unable-to-Save-An-error-occurred-while-saving-to-Box
If you have, can you navigate to C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Box\Box Edit\Documents\ and see if you can find the version of the file you were working on. Typically, these are MS Office temporary files that start with "~$".
