Data Leakage by Unauthorized Access
CompletedMy wife and me found someone in New York accessed my wife Box account and downloaded my shared files from my share folders. However, she cannot find any record for files using from her Box account and me too. In fact, we both received Email from Box talking about unknown browser used my wife Box account and informed me "my wife" downloaded so many files from shared folder. These folders were shared to my wife Box's account. How can we prevent from this happening again? We both did not use 2FA at that moment and setup after this incident. Also, how can I ask BOX help to find much more details regarding this incident? It happened at 2:22am on 6 November 2022 Hong Kong Time. Thank you.
