Excessive number of clicks to share direct link + see download activity (web interface)
AnsweredI'm finding it inconvenient that, to share a link once it's uploaded in the web interface, I have to click "Create & Copy Shared Link", then click "Link settings", then click "Copy", then click "Save", then click the X to close the window. That's five clicks just to grab the direct link. It may not seem like much, but it adds up - and I could have sworn it was a faster, more efficient process in earlier versions of Box years ago.
Not only that, but the recent change to the layout of the web interface in terms of seeing if the file has been downloaded is also frustrating. The user has to click on the file, then click "See Details", then click X to go back again. Really, it would be a lot more ergonomic if that info came up automatically in the right hand column once the file was clicked on - so just one click to find out, rather than a total of three.
I mean, it's eight clicks all up to grab the link and then see if it's been downloaded. I can't be the only one who's noticed how un-streamlined this is. And the loss of the "Updates" summary to see which files are being downloaded and by whom is also a frustrating loss of functionality for a customer. Can't we restore the functionality we had in earlier versions of Box, given that we're still paying customers?
