Box on demand???

I need clarification if Box works on demand, like One Drive does for example.

  Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

  I understand that you need clarification if Box offers a product that allows you to work on demand.

  Box offers an application called "Box Drive" which allows users to access their contents on their desktop environment. Using Box Drive app, users do not need to manually download their files into their computer as Box drive automatically locally cache files so you can access them as long as you are connected to the internet.
