files are missing

My collaborators and I are unable to access files that were once in a folder. This is a folder and files that we've used for awhile now. The only file in the folder is a very large file, it is a Word file, it indicates V2 (version 2), and it says it's protected. What's going one here?

  I would suggest to reach out to the owner of the file and have them check if you are still a collaborator for this specific file. You can refer them to this article so they can add you again: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196273-Managing-Collaborators

  I invited this other person as a collaborator, though. So it's my account that she was using . . .. is it possible for them to have created a folder and remove me as a collaborator?

  So, in other words, I am the owner of the folder and they upload the files.
