Deleted folder not appearing in Trash
AnsweredI had created a folder under My Favorites with several videos. I had a duplicate video within it that I wished to delete. I clicked on a trash button in an upper right corner of the screen, and lost the whole folder. I can only assume it was a delete folder button.
The big problem is that nothing appeared subsequently in my Trash. This is concerning to me, as these were important video files.
Has this happened to anyone else before?
Thanks

Hi Olivia,
Welcome to the Box Community! I'm happy to help.
The files in question may have been already emptied from the trash. Trash content on Box can be manually or automatically removed.
Have you already searched in your other folders in Box and in your Box Trash the missing folder? Box allows you sort and filter items within your trash folder.
You can filter content by Items I deleted and Items I own.
-
The Items I deleted filter will display all items deleted by you, regardless of who created or owns the item.
-
The Items I own filter will display all deleted items that you own, regardless of who deleted the item.
Tip: Filtering by "Items I Own" is helpful when trying to track down content that may have been deleted by a collaborator in a folder you own.
