Select All?
AnsweredI can't believe there is no select all checkbox so the user can select all files in a folder. I looked and looked and looked everywhere and could not find it. I did not have time to individually count hundreds of files. Luckily, I figured out that I can select the first file and scroll through my hundreds of files down to the bottom, hold shift, then select the last file to select all.
Why did I want to select all my files you ask? I wanted to know how many files were in the folder but while looking at the folder from its parent, it didn't show the quantity of files within that folder. Unfortunately for me, I happened to be in grid view which does not show file quantity for unobvious reasons. I'm pretty sure it showed the quantity before. But! I went into list view and was able to see it!
EDIT: so maybe I'm not psycho after all. In the screenshot on this page, it shows the quantity of files while in grid view: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695474-Sort-Files-and-Folders
Was this feature recently removed?
Wouldn't it make sense to have a select all button? Wouldn't it make sense to show the quantity of the folder even from grid view?

Hi there,
Welcome to Box Community!
This is to let you know that removing the resizing bar was by design with the new enhancements. Now we resize the grid cells dynamically based on the screen size.
Apologies for the current limitation and we understand the necessity of this feature.
At this time, this feature is subject for feature request and we recommend you post your idea on pulse.box.com for more visibility. Our product team reviews all submissions and will consider whether to include feedback in their product roadmap.
Thanks for posting!

I posted it on http://pulse.box.com .
I would think that since you are a moderator on here of some sort, you would have made it easy for people to follow the link by making it active so that everyone doesn't have to type it out in a new tab. It's a minor inconvenience for multiple people to do it but it's also a minor inconvenience for you to do it once.
