The Raw Footage from our Wedding is Gone

Hello all,

This is a last-ditch effort as I am in crisis mode.

My husband and I used a company for our wedding photos and video in September. We were delivered our photos and video, and the RAW footage was delivered via Box.

The company went under in the last couple of weeks (the owner ran with the money, not paying most of the photographers and videographers) and now the company servers are gone. All of the footage of our first look, vows, and even speeches are lost.

I am wondering if there is any way Box can recover these items for me to download in literally any capacity? I am absolutely devastated.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to the Box Community!

I am sorry to hear that. However, the only way to recover the files is to contact the user who owns the Box account where the files originally uploaded. If they shared it to you and the files were missing, those files are in the users account and we don't have capability to recover it unless they contact us.
