Deleting files does not sync
AnsweredLately I see this behavior: When I delete a file in Box Drive on either of a number of synced devices (Macs, iPad, iPhone), the file will be deleted from that device. However, the file will stay on all the other devices.
Unless this is a deliberate behavior to avoid erroneous deletion (which seems strange), this is very annoying and something I would like to fix. Any tips for this?

Hi Bjørn,
Welcome to Box Community!
Sorry to hear about your trouble and let me assist. If you won't mind let's begin to address your concern with the following:
- Check if you're running the most updated version of Box Drive.
- Log out and Log in from Box Drive.
- Navigate to the search menu by going to the menu bar and clicking the Box icon.
-
- Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Option + Cmd + space.
-
- Click the gear icon, and from the list that displays click Log Out.
- Lastly, restart your machine.
Note: Logging out of Box Drive or restarting your machine will wipe out your unsynced files or folders. And make sure to run this command first before you logout of Box Drive or restart your machine:
Open a Terminal window and run the following command:
fileproviderctl domain remove -A com.box.desktop.boxfileprovider; defaults delete com.box.desktop; rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Box/Box
Hope it helps! Should the issue persist, you may head over to Product Support and create a ticket.
