Box Folder on Mac Desktop

Hey, just installed 'Box' and it dumped the folder on the desktop. I don't want it installed there, as it will eat the memory etc etc etc.

 

Can the folder be moved?

    Have you checked out this support article on "Configuring the Default Box Drive Folder Location"?

    This may be relevant to your problem with the next steps!

    If this did not help, do you mind providing more information on what your goal when using the Box app in your computer?

    Hi France,

     

    Thank You for the link. I have only been shared a certain folder of this BOX file and would not want to bother my co-worker on working through changing the file location. I wish BOX gave us more flexibility in changing the location of the folder, I like my desktop clean and only showing my notes. I guess I have to just get used to it displayed there.
