Can't install Box Drive

I'm trying to install Box Drive for a user on Windows 10 Home (x64) and have been running into a problem. After downloading and running the .msi it pops up a dialog window saying "this installation package could not be opened".

This user has a different setup from the rest of our users including a different antivirus - however, he has the same AV on his other PC and was able to install Box Drive there. I was wondering what else could possibly be causing this error message.

Welcome to the Box Community!

It sounds to me like you may have some remnants of a Drive install that previously failed. Can you try to use this tool from Microsoft to see if you can uninstall any instance of Drive on the machine? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d

If you are able to run that tool to uninstall Drive, please try to install again following the steps and installer on this article: Installing Box Drive

I'm having the same problem. The weblink that you've recommended is now dead. I tried to uninstall Box from apps, but it won't uninstall either. Please advise.
