Word docs with restrictions

I use word documents that are fillable but have restrictions for editing all fields. They do not appear to be editable in Box due to restrictions.  Is there a setting to adjust or some way of allowing this function?

  Hi Tracey, 

  Welcome to the Box Community!

  The Editing features and functionality in word is owned by Microsoft, and Box only interacts with Office Apps by housing the file, sending it off to Microsoft's service, and receiving the changes back from Microsoft's service. This question seems more appropriate to confirm with Microsoft support.
