User gets error message trying to create an account

User is trying to create an account and received the error:

Email address not valid.

The email he's trying to sign up with is the same as his invitation to a folder.

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    I would usually see this error message when a user trying to create an account is using an email that is linked to a Box account.

    Can you have the affected user submit a ticket to our support page https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and provide the email he was using when signing up?

    This would be something our Support team would like to investigate with you and may require specific account information.
