    Welcome to the Box Community!

    To clarify when you said you gave your manager the property of a shared folder, does that mean you transferred the ownership of your folder to him?

    If yes, please be advised that Files are inaccessible while they are being transferred. This means that during the move, any shared content is inaccessible, also the process of transferring content can take some time to complete, depending on the amount of content to transfer. The more content, the longer it takes to complete. 

    If after you start the process there is no error, but some of the content does not immediately display, please wait up to a day and then check again if the folders are showing again, it they still don't, please go ahead and submit a ticket with our support team to check and investigate on this.
