Upload button removal - New layout
I had one of my most active BOX users report to me that her upload button disappeared.
After troubleshooting: checking her profile setup, clearing her cache memory, and resetting her machine, etc. We did not get anyywhere. However, she found out that the upload feature is under the "NEW" dropdown.
Is it possible when a change like that the whole community can be updated? We did not receive any notification of that change/upgrade.

We've actually made an announcement regarding the consolidated "New" button combining the 'New' and 'Upload' buttons. The announcement can be found here.
If you would like to get email notification on new product updates, you can subscribe to our Product Announcement page.
There's also a new feature called "What's New" in-product message center for admins and co-admins launched in May where admins can quickly find essential product, event, and educational news about Box.

Yep, we were looking at 2 different feature updates.
As I have checked, the "Consolidated New Button"is still rolling out to enterprise users so others may not be seeing the latest update yet.
But once the "New" button is fully available to the public, the status will be updated too in our product announcement page and articles.
