Box folder on local machine disappears when box drive shuts down

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to help!

    To guarantee your access to your local Box folder, you should always have your Box Drive application running. 

    Please ensure that you're running the latest version of your Box Drive application. If you need to update it, please feel free to follow the steps here

    However, if it's recurring and your Box Drive is up to date. Kindly reset your Box Drive manually and here are the steps.
